To Know God Is To Fear Not

God is love. In God is only love. Love is God.

Oh to know and believe His love! That was the heart-cry of Apostle John! The book of 1John is the prefect expression of John's heart desire for the church, the body of Christ, to know and fellowship in the light of God's love. In this fellowship there is no darkness of fear as perfect love casts out fear. Only in knowing that God is love, can we then truly know God. This revelatory knowledge of the love of God has NO FEAR! There is no fear in God! There is no fear in God because God is love and in love is no fear torment (1John 4:17-19). Our God is fearless love!

Meditate His love! Meditate His sacrificial love for you! Meditate that He gave His only begotten Son for you! Meditate this oh-so-great-love. What a great salvation He gave us! A salvation purchased and secured forever through His love - through the sacrifice of His Son. This revelation of the love of God is the freedom that we all yearn for - to know we are thoroughly loved. In His divine love we are approved and accepted by God. Love took us in because of a finished laying down of a pure life-sacrifice - a body broken, a blood shed - JESUS!

What great worth God has placed upon man and woman - the object of His affection. God has bestowed on us the worth of the life of His Son! Never doubt His love for you. He has lavishly demonstrated His wide open heart to you, sparing nothing in His rescue of your life. He laid all down for you and for me - the very life of our God so that we can now live in His love! His very Word made flesh died for us. The fulness of His living expression - the Logos - gave all for us so that we can now know and live in His love! He did this so we can fellowship in love with the one that has eternally loved us.

Be strengthened in His love today! Be made anew! Be refreshed by His loving life within you. Do not cease to lift up His name - the name above all names, the name that chose you, loved you and called you out to be His own, the name of His Son - JESUS! A most holy love He has for you.

Love chose you and gave you a place in His love forever.
