God - Confidence

God-confidence is what is required in this hour. An unshakable confidence in God. A confidence based on the Word of God. A confidence that goes behind the veil of our flesh and trusts in the Living God. This is what the Christian faith is. The Christian faith is a confidence in the Word of God that brings forth a great stability in perilous patches of roughness and instability.

A God-confidence is an assurance of a successful daily overcoming walk. This divine confidence produces a walk on Earth resembling Christ's walk on Earth. Such an overcoming walk is one that is wholly persuaded by that which God has promised. It is this faith persuasion that kept the Apostle Paul walking in the midst of great persecution, as he wrote to Timothy "... for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him ..." (2 Tim. 1:12).

We are to believe God! We are to believe His love! We are to believe His promise to us. His promise to us is true because He loves us. He is for us and not against us. His love towards us is what brought Jesus to Earth to be an once-and-for-all sacrifice. This act of God-love demonstrates to us that if God did not withhold His own Son, then He along with the Son gives us all things - all things that are GOOD! The Apostle John tells us that God is love and we are to know and believe His love.

Our God-confidence is based on a faith persuasion of the Love of God. His love is our safety and guarantee that we will make it in this hour - and not just make it, but gloriously overcome it too! Every child of God, born of God, is guaranteed this overcoming walk, because "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." (1John 4:4) and "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." (1John 5:4).

Meditate His promises to you. Think on His great faithfulness and victorious safe-keeping. His lead in your life is always an overcoming lead. His abiding in you and your abiding in Him is eternal and for-ever. Our God in us is GREATER than all and we can walk Earth with an unshakable God-confidence. No foe, nor any force can seize you out of the mighty and glorious hand of your Heavenly Father (John 10:29).
