Free in His Perfect Love

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

The liberty of the Christian is knowing that we are accepted in the love of God - we are the very loved of God. The revelation and inner assurance of knowing that we are loved is the freedom that this world is looking for. The world we live in is filled with tormenting fear and rejection.

The Word of God states that all creation is eagerly anticipating the revealing of the sons of God. This unveiling of divine sonship unburdens creation because the sons of God live out the revelation of the love of God. As this revelation is walked out it brings forth liberty to creation. God has placed a hope in all creation to be "delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" (Romans 8:21). God is love and by walking in His love, the sons of God manifest God to the world. The love of God is the only hope and deliverance from the fear that is in the world.

This liberty of the love of God looks like a courageous freedom from fear and torment. Only the sons of God can walk free from the fear in this world because they are born from God's divine love. In God's love there is no fear and thus no torment. Being free from fear has made us courageously bold in the love of God. The greatest expression of perfect freedom from torment and the world's oppression of fear is a child of God walking out their God-sonship. God's perfect love towards us, His children, has made us courageously free.

Be confident that God loves you and has laid down His life so that you be free from the torment and oppression of fear. Know that you are accepted in His love and are made to demonstrate this freedom of love to the world.

Today walk in the liberty of your salvation of love and be courageously free in God to bring deliverance to all creation.
