Truth Establishes You!

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began

For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.

In these last days it is of vital importance to be established in the truth of the word of God. The truth of the word is our beacon of light and our guiding compass in a dark world, filled with confusion and misdirection. The Holy Spirit establishes, within our hearts, that the word of God is truth and that it is at the core of our Christian faith because we are born again through the incorruptible seed of the word (1Peter 1:23). Only when we are fully convinced that the word of God is truth do we start relying on the word to be a beacon of guiding light, to navigate our thoughts and our life.

The word of God is the solid foundation on which we stand. The word alone establishes us in these perilous times to stand strong for God and equips us to proclaim the uncompromised message of the gospel of Christ. Without a persuaded stand on the word of God, there is nothing else that will keep us walking upright in this hour. No other persuasion can hold us up and keep us strong, all else is sinking sand and passing vanities.

We have heard so much on the importance of daily reading our Bibles and to many it has become a religious mantra or a message they quickly toss away because their days are 'too busy'. My encouragement to you today is to daily take the word as your life source. The word of God is the source of your strength, the very bread of God that He has given to fortify us and to enable us to run our race and complete all divine assignments here on Earth. The word of God is your peace of mind, as it will be a daily reminder of God's love for you and His perfect plan and provision for your life. The word of God is your daily encouragement that will tell you that you are born of God and have already overcome all and if God is for you then no foe can come against you and prevail.

The truth of the word is divine utterance, Holy Spirit breathed. It will never wither nor ever perish, but is everlasting unchanging truth. Take your stand on the word today and be found established in truth, steadfast and abounding in the work of the Lord. Do not forsake or become negligent in your daily time with God in His word. Read the Bible meditatively and mull over His truth. Be a partaker of this divine bread and allow His truth to establish you, to make you stand firm in an age of great shift and change,
