For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

The Word of God solely can make the believer truly alive and vibrant - to be full of hope and joy. There is divine power in the Word of God, the very life of Christ, to brighten our day and to keep us in full vigor to finish strong to the end. The Word of God is a beacon of light that guides us in unseen paths that have already been charted safely for us by God - the architect of our lives.
"By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going." (Hebrews 11:8). Abraham discerned the truth of the Word of God and entrusted himself fully to the lead of the truth. Only the voice of God, through the Word of God, can lead us safely to the glory destinations that God has granted us in Christ.
The Word of God gives our life the ultimate freedom expression because it is the very essence of our lives - we are born again through the ever-living Word (1 Peter 1:23). As we allow His Word to richly dwell in us, we are enabling the residing divine power that His Word is, to keep us from all evil. Contrarily, when we are slack in the daily meditation of His Word, we are limiting the clarity of His voice to lead us and thus are often found in unexpected snares and dead ends - moments to be rescued from.
The loving mercy of our Heavenly Father is perfectly demonstrated towards us through His completed work of salvation, that He has freely given to us to receive. "But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." (Titus 3:4-7).
By giving the love of God a central place in our lives, we are opening our hearts to the voice of the Holy Spirit to enlighten our eyes to make us see and discern the truth of the Word. As our spiritual sight is strengthened, through the meditation of His Word, our appetite for the Word increases, and so does our faith. Thus the level of our trust in God demonstrates the degree of our meditation of the Word of God.
When we meditate the truth of the Word of God, we allow the seed of the Word to germinate in our hearts and to produce a righteous tree of faith that fully expresses His divine life, so we can diffuse His sweet smelling fragrance to the many that are seeking Him. Today be persuaded by the truth of the Word of His power and in the sight of God release the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing - the aroma of life leading to life (2 Cor. 2: 15-17).
