The Stillness Of His Voice

The stillness of His voice finds home in the stillness of your soul.

The Voice of God is always found in the stillness of your soul. The biggest resistance to the voice of God is a disturbed and an agitated soul. Therefore with all diligence we are to guard our heart. Out of the stillness and assurance of our heart flow springs of life. His voice is our life.

As Christians, the greatest work that we do is the work of faith - it is to believe the Word of God. Faith in the Word of God is the sole means by which our heart is steadied and inclined into trusting our God. The Voice of God carries the Word of God that births living faith and a pure child-like trust toward God. The Holy Spirit is the voice of God, The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and His truth alone can still us.

Today take some time out of your busy schedule to pause and to meditate the Word of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into His Truth. Place your eyes on the verses of the Bible and tune your heart to His Word. Still yourself before Him and hear His loving voice. The Holy Spirit is leading you into realms of transforming glory - realms of revelation that conform you to your Master Jesus. Open your heart to His love again and yield to His call.

This is how God is exalted among the nations. This is how He is exalted in the Earth. It is by you stilling yourself to hear His living voice and to know His love. This is the encounter of the Living God. In the stilling of your soul you hear the stillness of His Voice.

Our God is trustworthy. He is faithful. He is true! There is no variation nor shadow of turning with Him. Our God is steadfast and undisturbed. He is peace forever and He desires to speak in stillness and truth to you.
