For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:16,17

We always want to know which way to go - which is the easiest and fastest route to our destination. We peer over maps, have our navigation systems on and at all cost want to avoid delays or even worse, getting lost. This is an innate working, a desire to know the location and be found in the right place at the right time. In Christ now, we have the ultimate navigation system - the Holy Spirit and the most up-to-date road map of life and destiny - the Word of God.
When we become born again, the way we walk changes and there is a brand new way to navigate in life. At our new spiritual birth we were given the mighty Holy Spirit. He now becomes the means by which we navigate the road map of life and how we reach our destination, the fulfilment of our destiny. The Holy Spirit takes us on a journey of transformation to ensure that we go the right way, the way of Christ. He has become the guarantee, our assurance of being found in the right place at the right time. The Holy Spirit is the deposit of God in us enabling us to walk in the fulness of our inheritance in Christ (Ephesians 1:13,14). He is our guide and the One that leads us into all truth declaring to us the way of God (John 16:13-15). The work of transformation that the Holy Spirit performs in us is to take us out of the carnal lead of external sight and signs and to securely place us and keep us on the road of our finished salvation. This is the blessed glorious walk of faith.
The guide of the Holy Spirit is by faith and not by sight. That which is 'normal' to natural man becomes a snare to the born again spirit-man. Natural sight is a sure way to be misguided and to trip up and miss the blessed way of life. The Holy Spirit teaches us to no longer conform to the way of the world but to follow the lead of our Good Shepherd Jesus. This is a retraining of our senses by the Word of God. This retraining is so that we clearly discern the godly way to live life versus the way that leads to destruction (Heb. 5:14). Unfortunately, many do not yield to this spiritual training and allow the ways of the world to lead them into some frustrating dead-ends and confusing alley ways.
Our Heavenly Father has given us His precious Word through which we can participate in His divine nature and know at all times His perfect will for our lives (2Peter 1:4 & Romans 12:2). The safe way of His will and calling is never hidden from us but is made plain to us, the heirs of salvation.
Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you God's perfect path for your life by submitting to His lead to abide in the Word of Truth. This is how you will always be found on His best route in fulfilling His perfect will for your life.
