You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
John 15:3
...that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
Ephesians 5:26,27
...how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:14

There is no better feeling than the feeling of clean and pure; where there is no guilt, no shame and no guile. A pure conscience, a clean thought, and a peaceful mind - this is what Jesus Christ came to be and to offer us! He came to cleanse us from all sin and guilt. He came to set us free from the bondage of the impure and the profane. Now in Him (and only in Him) we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of all sin (Colossians 2:14).
His broken body and His shed blood have forever consecrated us unto God and have fully and completely delivered us from the power of sin and death. This is the power of our salvation. This is the liberty of our Christian life - our sanctification unto God. This sanctification stands on the basis of His sacrifice. Jesus willingly laid down His life to become an atoning sacrifice for us so that we now be holy, pure and blameless in the sight of God (Ephesians 1:4, Colossians 1:22).
Through the cross of Christ we have been granted peace with our God based on an imputed righteousness. A righteousness that no man could earn but His blood freely obtained for us - a righteousness based on His pure shed blood. His blood freely flowed so that we could freely run to God - to be found in the presence of a Holy God, pure in His sight. The writer of the book of Hebrews expounds on the work of the blood of Christ and tells us that because of His precious blood sin is expunged from our conscience and the impure has now become pure before God.
What a joyous day it is when we become born again and realize that we have been freed from the stain of sin, that His blood has washed away all record of wrong. Now we are the children of God - enabled to share of Christ's divine nature, to be pure and undefiled forever. What a glory divine to know that now in Christ only rest remains. There is no more struggle to become clean. Our faith in Jesus has made us clean.
But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Romans 3:21-26
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
Hebrews 10:19-23
