Fear Not!

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

As children of God we represent God and His kingdom. The Bible tells us that we are citizens of Heaven and ambassadors of God on Earth. Although we live in this world, we are not of this world. Therefore our portion and inheritance is not of this world, but of the Heavenly Kingdom. We are born from above, of the Spirit of God, and thus we have access to the eternal way of God. The way of God is Jesus. Jesus is the Son of His love, whose kingdom we belong to now (Colossians 1:13). In His love there is no fear. In His love there is only things hoped for and evidence of things not seen in the natural.

As we behold the Heavenly man Jesus, we are transformed into His image - the image of the Son of His love. The Word of God tells us that "just as we have borne the image of the earthly [the man of dust], we will also bear the image of the heavenly [the Man of heaven]" (1Corinthians 15:49 AMP). The image of the Heavenly man is Love. Love casts out all fear and the torment that lives in the world. As we behold the Son of Love we undergo a transformation of the Holy Spirit that is working for us a most excellent way of glory.

Today do not believe the fear found in this world, but believe and know the love of God. As we behold Love we are transformed into fearless love! That which we behold we become. We solely behold Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Our eyes and ears are fixed on and tuned into our Master. In His fearless steps we follow, our gaze is firmly set on Him. We do not look at the passing vanities of the world which are the temporal fear-mongering circumstances. We have only one Love to follow - our Jesus.

God has lavishly supplied us with His Spirit and equipped us to behold the One that eternally IS rather than to fear what appears to be. See His love alone and fear not!
