Keep Walking Pilgrim!

As Christians we are new creation beings. We are not of this world anymore. We are of God now, made after the heavenly man Jesus. We are born again and thus we walk!

The Word instructs us to know ourselves after our new birth in Christ and not after our natural descent. We are to have the mindset of a pilgrim and a sojourner in this world. Our sight is set on God and our homeland is above - Heaven. Our earthly walk is to be by faith in God and not by the natural sight of the carnal unregenerate man. Our faith in God keeps us living as strangers in this world, just as it did father Abraham (Hebrews 11:9).

Only in our new creation life can we live life pleasing to God. The life of our new-creation-man is the life of faith. This life pleases God because it is a life of belief in His Word and a full yieldedness to His Spirit. This life is of the Holy Spirit and is the ultimate freedom from all the enslavement and bondage found in this world.

When you recognize your life as being from God, that you are in Christ now, you are regarding yourself as a new creation being. Your old worldly life has passed away and now all has become brand new (2Corinthians 5:17). This is the glorious new life that God has given us in Christ! It is the life of an ambassadorship - representing God on Earth. As Christians we are God's special people, created by His love to be His very own possession to reflect His loving kindness and goodness to all.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

1Peter 2:9,10

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Ephesians 5:1,2

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

Ephesians 5:8

In Christ our life is from above, a life of pilgrimage here on Earth. Know that His love has provided for you all that you need for life and godliness in this pilgrimage. Today you can walk worthy of your heavenly Father demonstrating His goodness on Earth.
