Whatever you do, whether in speech or action, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus and give thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17 CEB

As a Christian, our life is not our own. We are of God now. When we received Jesus in our hearts and became born-again we took on His life. He is now in us living out His divine will for our Earthly life. He has given us the right to be His beloved children. In this divine right is granted a desire to follow Him - to solely follow His lead! This is how we fulfill our Earthly assignment to be His ambassadors and demonstrate His glory. By fully yielding to His lead we can completely follow in the path He has outlined for our lives and be a blessing to those around us.
Through our adoption as sons and daughters of God we can now wholeheartedly yield to His Holy Spirit and submit to His Word. This is what full compliance to God is - that it is no longer I who lives but it is Jesus in me living His divine life through my yielded vessel (Galatians 2:20). This is full submission to God alone! Pure submission to God is possible only when we live submitted to His life within us! As Christians we now can live the life of faith - through the faith of the Son of God that resides in us.
Life in God is a life lived in full compliance to His will. Our utmost pleasure and desire is to allow His life to rule over our Earthly life and bring our vessel in full submissiveness to His ways. In Christ we do not live life for personal gain nor from selfish ambitions but our lives are to bring glory to the Living God. We are Christ's living letters written not by commandments of man, but inscribed by the Holy Spirit (2Corinthians 3:3). Our Spirit-life, infused by the love of God, is to be read and seen by the world. When we live out His divine life, we walk in the fulness of His blessing towards humanity. This is how God is seen in the world and glorified. A life lived in full compliance to God is a life of blessing to others!
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16 NKJV
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
2Corinthians 3:5 NKJV
You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous, and this [generosity, administered] through us is producing thanksgiving to God [from those who benefit].
2Corinthians 9:11 AMP
