Faith Of The Unseen

Updated: Dec 15, 2020

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

Faith is of the unseen. In Hebrews 11:1, the writer states a most profound statement that faith is unseen substance and evidence of the unseen. This is because faith is of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is not of natural observation, but of a faith persuasion. Faith is a gift from God that He has given to us - it is the faith of the Son of God that lives inside of us. Through this precious gift of faith, the Christ-man within can now walk out mighty divine workings. Through this faith expression, the Christ-man manifests God on Earth. This is an expression of the Kingdom of God here on Earth. Therefore faith is not of the natural-seen, but is of the supernatural Kingdom of God. It is the evidence of things not seen because it is based on an assured persuasion of “I know I got it."

So often we are quick to say, “I know who I am”, but the truth that resonates within me is that I want to be fully persuaded in knowing who I am. I want to fully know that I am a child of Light. I want to fully know that I am His light on Earth. I want to fully know who I truly am - that I am now made in the image of the Son of God who bears the image of His Father. All things were made by Him and for Him, all things are subject to Him, He has the preeminence over all things - and in all of this I am a partaker. I am a partaker of His divine nature now.

I am not under a moment. Even though we might be walking through many moments, but in all these moments we are to be triumphant. These moments are there for us to step over and to realize, “Ah, I am a child of Light. Darkness fled from me. Glory be to God, I spoke to that and it budged. Who am I? I am a child of God! I am a child of the Most High God. I bear the very image of the Father through the Son. I bear the very expression of divine life that Jesus walked in here on Earth." Whosoever touched Him was healed, because they touched eternity. They touched by faith. The woman with the issue of blood touched eternity. The leper, he saw Divine Life walk by, and he cried out “Son of David, have mercy on me.” He is Eternal life. Apostle John in 1John calls Jesus the Word-of-Life. He is the Word of Life. The Word of Life had mercy on us and dwelt among us and now lives in us. He came to show us mercy.

And so when I say trust God, it is truly - trust Loving Mercy. We trust a finished, completed work of “I am now one with Him. I am now one with my Father.” There is no more separation. As we grow in this revelation and our minds are renewed to the divine nature that is already within us, we more readily trust the workings of God through this unseen reality of faith. What separates us, in our thoughts, from God is the old carnal mindset. The more we cultivate time in the Word and time with the Holy Spirit in prayer, we are undergoing a transformation. In turn, less and less is there a wedge in our minds between us and God - where we see God over there and us over here.

God is now here within me, all consuming fire, all consuming life, all consuming light, and all consuming hope. He is here within me. So when I pray to the Father, “Mercy!” I am actually saying, “Oh Father, thank you for your mercy, you now live in me. You never leave me nor forsake me. You are my God forever and I am yours forever."

Through the finality of the sacrifice of Jesus we have become children of God, begotten by our heavenly Father, snatched out of the kingdom of darkness so that evil no longer has an insinuation power over us to form a thought process within. We just say, “No. Nope. I am not of that thought process. I am not of that manner of living anymore. No! I am of the Christ nature now. " In the Christ nature is only life. In the Christ nature is only hope. In the Christ nature is only perfect stability. In the Christ nature is perfect understanding. In the Christ nature is perfect wisdom, and so that now I know which way I go because He ever leads me. He alone leads me now because I have an unction from the Holy One within. The natural-seen has no longer any bearing on my reality in Christ.

In Christ I am of the unseen supernatural reality of the Kingdom of God.
