Dominion Life - The Divine Life of the Son of God

Dominion life is our life in Christ. As we search out the truth of the word of God it is evident that now in the body of Christ we have been given new life, a life that is from above, a life that is of God - divine eternal life!

The life that we now live on Earth is the life of the Son of God, the Christ life, a life that has been resurrected from the corruption that is found in the world and raised up to a God possibility life. Having been raised up into newness of life in Christ has opened us up to living in limitless potential.

Why are we then, in the body of Christ acquainted with failure and frustration, since we know that we have been raised up together with Christ and seated with Him in the heavenly, a place of dominion, power and might?

It is because we have resolved to know ourselves after the old man, the man of flesh, the one that was crucified with Christ - baptized into the death of Christ. Rather than making a determined effort to grow up in this new life that has been granted to us in Christ, we have been trying to live the resurrected life of Christ out of our flesh. To live out our new nature from the old carnal nature is an impossibility and the ultimate frustration and failure. Instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us into the truth of our new creation, we have developed coping mechanisms in the flesh, called a life of pretense. This pretense has masked our life and rather than experience the freedom of the Holy Spirit to live lives unveiled before God, often we have closed off our hearts to God and conformed to the pressure of an outer appearance.

The truth that is found in the word of God is that the Christ life within - the new nature that we have been raised up to, that we have been born again to - has supplanted the old nature. The apostle Paul writes in his epistles that we are to put off the old man and through the renewing of our mind we are to put on the new Christ man that is created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. [Ephesians 4:22-24, Colossians 3:9-11 & Romans 13:11-14]

Choose the life of the Spirit by reckoning yourself dead in the flesh and alive to God in the spirit (Romans 6:11). Lay hold of the glorious riches of this new life that is in your new creation man. You are now a possessor of eternal divine life, a life of dominion over death, the world and the flesh.
