Do Not Fret - Just Trust!

Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Psalm 37:1-4

God is a good God. God is for us and God is in us. There is nothing to fear when we know that God is for us. He has indwelled us with His Holy Spirt - His spirit of love and of power. Through our new spiritual birth in Christ we now have the spirit of might residing inside of us, upholding us in the life of the Son of God.

His life in us has strengthened us for every spiritual battle that we will ever face. God's promise to us is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is forever faithful to us. God's faithfulness is from everlasting to everlasting and His kindness endures forever. His eternal plan is unchanging and at work.

For He is the living God,

And steadfast forever;

His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed,

And His dominion shall endure to the end.

He delivers and rescues,

And He works signs and wonders

In heaven and on earth...

Daniel 6:26,27

Our God is the God of Abraham, Moses, David and Daniel. Our God is the conquering King that has made us more than conquerors through Him. He is the God of resurrection life that has quickened our mortal bodies by His Spirit's life.

Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:26,26). The question that Jesus poses to us all is - Do you believe? Be a believer of Jesus today. He is our resurrection life and eternal hope. Do not lose heart in the well-doing of your faith. press through the crowd of doubt and unbelief and be found trusting your Heavenly Father.

“All flesh is as grass,

And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.

The grass withers,

And its flower falls away,

But the word of the Lord endures forever.”

1Peter 1:24,25

Today do not fear but trust God and His word of power. He has you and has equipped you in Christ to withstand all and to overcome all. Pure triumph is your portion in Christ!
