Divine Living Existence

Living life! This is what our every day is about - living life. According to the Word of God, life that is Living is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ. We can go through the motions of our day and never truly experience Living life. Often we equate life with relationships, work, responsibilities and the yearly vacation. The life that God offers us is an eternal divine life - a life that is not of Earth but is of Heaven. This divine life is only found in our rooting and abiding in Christ.

God freely offers Living life to all. As many as receive Jesus Christ, only these can taste and see the goodness of the heavenly Living life. This eternal life is light to the world. The light of this life is freedom from the grip of darkness and chaos found in the world. When we became born again, we were unhooked from darkness and became children of Light. God is Light and His light always shines out of darkness to communicate the way, the truth and the life. Jesus Christ is the full expression of God's divine life. When we received Jesus, we received life. The Bible tells us that we have been made alive in Him and have been resurrected together with Jesus to be seated with Him forever in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:5,6).

This reality is one of great meditation. This is where we daily press in - into the revelation of being born again, being a new creation of God in Christ. The biggest trip-up in which we may find ourselves is to know ourselves after the old carnal man. This carnal man has been crucified in Christ's death and thus the carnal nature has no dominion over us (Rom 6:3-9). We now reckon ourselves alive with Christ! As children of God, this is our inheritance. Our life is no longer ours (of the old man) but has been made new in Christ. Christ now lives His life in and through us (Colossians 2:20).

To know ourselves according to this divine life - Christ in us, the hope of glory - is the utmost pursuit of our faith adventure in God. This is what truly gives God honour and glory - it is to believe His testimony that Christ is now our life. The Word actually states that if we do not believe this very testimony of God, we make God to be a liar (1John 5:10,11).

The reality of our great salvation is that our old life is no-more and our real life is now hid with Christ in God so when Christ, who is our life is revealed to the world, we share in all His glory (Colossians 3:3,4 NLT). This divine glory is only found in the life of Christ within us. Allow your mind to be transformed and transfigured by this divine truth of His life in you.

God alone is our life and He wants to express His divine living existence through us. Let the world see Him as you live out His life here on Earth!
