...Abraham was first named “father” and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples....
Romans 4:17,18 MSG

The fight of faith is to dare believe God. Every day we are faced with challenging moments and circumstances. These circumstances are there to remind us that we now, in the body of Christ, have a say so! We make daily decisions that affect these circumstances. That is right! The tough moments and challenges in our life do not have to have a lasting effect on us but we are to determine their outcome - to make them submit to the Word of God.
The life of the Christian believer is a life of dominion and authority in the name of Jesus. When we dare to believe God in His Word - we are like Abraham who against all hope, in hope believed God and so became the father of many nations. His natural circumstances did not make it look like that was a possibility for Abraham and Sarah, yet God said that it was - and so it was. Just like us today, Abraham was faced with the choice of trusting God or believing his natural circumstance. When Abraham believed God his circumstance changed and it bowed to the truth of the Word of God. This is how Abraham became the promise of God - the father of many nations, whose seed was Jesus!
The key to Abraham's courageous faith was Abraham being found in the presence of the Word of God, the living voice of God. Courage to believe God always comes from hearing the Word of God. Our faith in God's Word is our victory over all worldly moments. In Christ we have the liberty, the lead of the Holy Spirit, to believe God according to His Word and to see the impossibility become a possibility.
Today trust God and His Word. Trust the lead of the Holy Spirit within you and see the miraculous take place in your life. Be a believer of truth and have the courage to step out and dominate your circumstance. Dare to believe God!
