I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
Galatians 2:20,21

Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:3,4
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1-3
As Christians, our identity in Christ is our foundation for life and faith. Faith in Jesus Christ identifies us with His death, burial and resurrection. Faith in this complete work of salvation is our victory over the world and the enemy. Only in this Christ reality are we fully alive unto God and enabled by the Holy Spirit to walk in a newness of life.
Our Christ identity is the ultimate assurance of the love of God. When we behold our great salvation, all we see is the love of God - for God so loved us that He sent His Son into the world to save us and not to condemn us. This is the boldness that we have in life - that now He lives His life through us and is accomplishing in us a glorious transformation. His life in us brings conformity to Him, causing us to will and to do according to His good purpose (Philippians 2:13). In Christ we are fully pleasing to our God and can live in the pleasure of His perfect will (Ephesians 1:4,5).
There is no higher identity than the identity of a Christian - a oneness with God and a consciousness of being blameless and pure in His sight. What a marvelous work of redemption we are now a part of. A salvation that is of God unto men. God demonstrated such love to us by bringing us into His full acceptance because of the sacrifice of His Son. There is no more magnificent of a reminder than what the Apostle Paul wrote:
"And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister." (Colossians 1:21-23)
Hold on to the truth of your new creation in Christ. Do not let anyone cheat you from this Christ identity through doctrines of false humility and vain philosophies. In Christ you are a new man, created according to God in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:24).
In Him alone you are made alive and fully complete!
