... He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
Ephesians 1:20,21
... made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus
Ephesians 2:5,6
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:1,2

Our placement in Christ provides our spiritual sight - our view. Our view is determined by our vantage point. Now that we are in Christ our vantage point is in the heavenly place where we are seated with Him. When we are mindful of our placement in Christ we become vigilant to keep a focus that is from above and not to drop our gaze back to the earthly realm. Our gaze is to be on Christ above and not the earthly below.
Our seated place in Him and focused gaze on Him defines our confident expectation to see His goodness in the land that we are living in. Our joyful trust in God spurs our faith-filled conversations. The present times we are living in want to engage our attention and steal our focus off our resurrected Saviour.
When our gaze slips away from our position in Christ in the heavenly places, we start to reflect that which we behold. Should we survey the confusion and fear found in the world - we in turn become confused and anxious. We are to guard from worldly fearful conversations because these promptly strip our confidence in God and rob us of our faith.
The Word of God commends us to be anxious for nothing but to be found prayerful. When we pray we automatically behold the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world for us - our Jesus. This is how our hearts get filled with courage and peace and faith to believe God.
Today see your life from the view above and be encouraged that the One who began the good work in you will faithfully and gloriously complete it.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
